The cartoon is simple enough to draw but if you begin with guidelines, you'll get the proportions correct and your confidence will grow. You can then try to create your own cartoons using Fred Flintstone as a model.
Step 1 - Sketch out an oval tilted upwards for the head and a larger oval for the body.Draw in stick arms with a circle each for the hands and stick legs with an oval each for the feet.
Step 2 -
Now draw in the eyes nose and mouth and hair to make the face complete. Next shape the body and flesh out the arms and legs, the fingers and feet too.Erase all extra guidelines with white paint.
Step 3-
Its time to paint. Use solid bright colors. Orange for Fred Flintstone's costume, green for his tie and pale pink for the skin. The mouth is a darker shade of orange. To finish the painting of Fred Flintstone, draw in the pattern on his costume with black and outline the whole cartoon with a black pencil.
