Body language means everything! I began this sketch with grey guidelines to show the tilt of the face and the swing of the body. I drew stick figure arms and blocked in the hands.
Step 2 -
Then I put in the details with a thin black pencil line. Now I airbrushed the background in shades of pink. I fleshed out the balloons with highlights and a thin pencil pale pink outline.
Step 3 -
Now I airbrushed the dark green for the jacket, the pale flesh tints for the face and arms and the pink for the T shirt.
Step 4-
Over this I used pencil lines for the jacket highlights and black paint bucket tool for the pattern on the T shirt.
Step 5-
I airbrushed shades of browns and yellows for the hair. Finally I used thin pencil strokes for the darks and highlights.
